We use a 1000 mg Vitamin C per packet because:

  • It is a moderate single dose.
  • It enables optimal stability of the product.
  • Dosage affects how some countries categorize the ingredient, and we want to ensure our product is available globally.

We use sodium ascorbate because it is a highly bioavailable form of Vitamin C that is well suited for liposomal encapsulation. Sodium ascorbate is much less acidic than plain ascorbic acid, which makes it easier on the digestive system. The pH of our product is 6.5, which is very close to neutral without being buffered. Sodium ascorbate is also the type of Vitamin C used in IVs.
